Wild Oats logo

Wild Oats was a nickname given to Australia’s wine pioneer Bob Oatley long before he planted his first grapevines in the late 1960’s. Bob named his first sailboat Wild Oats which was a simple canoe with a bed sheet for a sail. This was the beginning of a life-long passion for sailing and today Wild Oats XI is a five-time winner and owner of the course record for fastest finish of the prestigious Sydney to Hobart race. Whether it’s wine or sailing, Wild Oats is a winner. The Wild Oats wines are a labor of love for the Oatley Family and we know you’ll find them delicious, an excellent value, and a bit adventurous – the way wine is meant to be.
